Due to growth, our client is looking for someone to join our busy in-house workshop team. The job is based at the Head Office on the industrial estate in Blidworth. The current team is responsible for the repair and maintenance of a range of agricultural equipment including mowers, tractors, strimmers, chainsaws, etc., as well as servicing and maintaining over 30 vehicles including trailers, all in-house. It can be a very busy and challenging environment.
We are looking for someone with:
- Agricultural plant and machinery experience
- A vehicle maintenance NVQ/qualification
- A full clean driving license with towing capacity
Knowledge of the Operators License will be advantageous and welding experience is also preferable. The candidate will ideally have experience in this type of business or similar, as although training will be given, we need someone who can work under their own steam as well as lead and be a part of the team.
Candidates should have a can-do attitude, be willing to work to challenging timescales, and be flexible, being able to work overtime when needed to ensure all our team of over 60 staff remain out on site working.
Hours of work are approximately 50 hours per week between 7.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday, as the business needs, and possibly some Saturday mornings. Salary circa £35k depending on experience.
