Deputy Manager

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team and support our Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the home., As the Deputy Care Home Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring that all care services are provided to the highest standard. This is an office-based position, designed to assist the Home Manager with administrative tasks, care planning, audits, and staff coordination. You will have a critical role in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and ensuring that the needs of our residents are met through person-centred care planning., * Assist the Home Manager with the overall management and daily operations of the care home.

• Develop and maintain high-quality, person-centred care plans for residents.

• Ensure that care plans are regularly reviewed and updated in line with changing needs.

• Conduct and oversee internal audits of care documentation, medication management, and other key areas to maintain compliance with CQC standards.

• Support the Home Manager in managing and training care staff, promoting a positive and caring culture.

• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and liaising with external agencies.

• Maintain accurate records of care delivery, staff training, and audits.

• Respond to any issues, concerns, or incidents promptly and efficiently.

• Proven experience in a senior care role, preferably as a Deputy Manager or similar position.

• Strong knowledge and experience in person-centred care planning.

• Familiarity with CQC standards and care home audits.

• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage and mentor a team of care staff.

• Strong IT skills, with proficiency in care management software., * Care Management: 2 years (preferred)
