Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of quantity surveying for structural steel projects, including tendering, budgeting, and final accounts. Prepare, review, and negotiate contract terms with clients and subcontractors. Monitor project costs, ensure value for money, and manage budgets effectively to maximise profitability. Conduct site visits to measure and value works completed. Collaborate closely with project teams to provide cost advice and ensure alignment with project goals. Identify and manage project risks, including resolving disputes and handling claims. Produce accurate and timely reports for senior management and stakeholders. Requirements: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the structural steel industry. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, particularly JCT and NEC forms. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficient in using industry-standard software and tools.
