KAYALI is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding our business relationship with retail partners. Your strong experience and knowledge of major fragrance retailers operations, product requirements, and customer preferences will be instrumental in achieving sales targets and fostering a mutually beneficial partnership.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue opportunities; collaborate with Sephora’s team to align strategies and drive sales growth
  2. Serve as a point of contact between KAYALI and retail partners, nurturing a strong professional partnership
  3. Responsible for coordinating and scheduling meetings with the internal team and retailers
  4. Manage internal and competitive pricing list for all product categories as part of a master product catalog, update with any new SKUs and or discontinued SKUs
  5. Collate competitive reviews of newness launches to share with internal Sales team + global Marketing
  6. Identify new opportunities and promotional initiatives to drive incremental sales
  7. Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and consumer preferences to identify growth areas and propose innovative strategies
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, new product launches, and emerging technologies to effectively communicate the value of our brands and products
  9. Help develop and manage account forecasts, budgets, and sales projections
  10. Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and promotional activities to identify areas for improvement
  11. Provide regular updates to the management team, highlighting sales achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations
  12. Potential for additional ad-hoc Sales team requests

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales roles within the fragrance or beauty industry, ideally working with one of the retailers like Sephora
  3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders
  5. In-depth knowledge of the fragrance industry, including trends, competitors, and consumer preferences
  6. Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software
  8. Strategic and adaptive; ability to efficiently anticipate, identify, and articulate problems in real-time
