Position: Lecturer – Motor Vehicle Location: East London Contract: Full-time, permanent (36 hours per week) Salary: £24,872 – £43,440 per annum (including London weighting), depending on qualifications and experience. Additional Pay: Market-rate supplement of up to £10k (paid monthly over two years, based on skills/experience). Start Date: As soon as possible Responsibilities: *Plan and deliver engaging lessons, creating schemes of work and learner-centred assessments. *Provide constructive feedback to support student development and progress. *Track and report on student attendance, progress, and achievements. *Maintain a safe learning environment, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. *Offer coaching and pastoral support to students, aiding their development and future progression. *Stay updated on industry developments to maintain course relevance and student employability. *Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices. Essential Requirements: (must have at least one) *Hold a teaching qualification and have experience teaching in FE or HE sectors. *Hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject and be willing to undertake a teaching qualification (supported by the college’s Passport to Teaching programme). *Possess significant industry experience, be qualified to Level 3 in the subject, and be prepared to obtain a teaching qualification.
