Care Team Leader

Job Description: Team Leader – Healthcare (150 hours per month) Location: Bideford, Devon Pay Rate: £13.37 per hour Shifts: Day shifts, 3-week rolling rota (one weekend in three) Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centered care. Care Delivery: Support residents with learning disabilities, mental health, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments. Shift Management: Lead day shifts, ensuring the team follows care plans and health & safety regulations. Training & Development: Provide training and mentorship to staff to ensure ongoing development. Compliance: Ensure all records are maintained and comply with policies, safeguarding, and infection control standards. Support for Management: Assist the Care Manager with daily operations and quality assurance. Requirements Experience: Previous experience in healthcare or social care, ideally in a leadership role. Qualifications: Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (NVQ Level 4 in Leadership preferred). Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge: Understanding of learning disabilities, mental health, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.
