Job Title: Social Media and Influencer Manager

Description:
- The Client is looking for a Social Media & Influencer Manager to lead the UK social media strategy, build brand awareness, and drive engagement for Express. This role requires a creative, data-driven individual who can craft compelling social content, foster an engaged online community, develop strong partnerships with influencers and content creators, and measure success through data and analytics. The role will play a pivotal part in enhancing brand awareness and driving engagement.
- The role reports to the Client’s Head of Social as part of the EMEA Digital Media Communications team, which spans across PR, social, and influencer activity. It will also collaborate with multiple functions, including marketing and communications teams and a network of agencies to grow our communities and deliver creative and engaging content via influencers and their social channels.
What you’ll do:
Social Media Management
- Develop and execute the UK social media strategy for Express across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube).
- Create and curate high-quality, engaging content that aligns with brand messaging and resonates with our UK audience.
- Manage the social content calendar, ensuring timely and strategic posts around key campaigns, product updates, and cultural moments.
- Monitor trends, competitor activity, and platform updates to optimize social strategy.
- Collaborate with the global social team to align UK efforts with overall brand strategy.
- Analyse social performance metrics and provide insights to refine engagement strategies.
- Plan and manage paid social media budget (with agency support), setting clear KPIs and objectives.
Influencer & Creator Partnerships
- Develop and manage influencer marketing campaigns, identifying and partnering with UK-based creators who align with Express and key target audiences of small businesses and communicators.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers, briefing them on campaign objectives and ensuring impactful content delivery.
- Track and measure influencer campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Partner with the paid media team on licensing influencer content as part of a creator amplification strategy.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track KPIs such as engagement (interactions), content performance, and influencer ROI.
- Provide regular performance reports with insights and recommendations to optimize social and influencer strategies.
- Use analytics tools (e.g., Sprinklr, or native platform insights) to track success and identify opportunities.
