Lead Practitioner – Nursery Setting We are working with a well-established nursery that is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Practitioner to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Years professional who thrives in a leadership role and is committed to providing outstanding care and learning opportunities for children. About the Role: As a Lead Practitioner, you will be responsible for leading your room, supporting your team, and ensuring the smooth daily operation of the setting. You will work closely with the Nursery Manager to maintain high standards of care, learning, and development, following the EYFS framework. Key Responsibilities: Implement an effective daily routine to meet children’s individual needs Lead the planning of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities Ensure accurate completion of paperwork, observations, tracking, and reports Supervise and support your team, delegating tasks fairly and effectively Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment Foster positive relationships with parents, keeping them engaged in their child's learning Ensure safeguarding, confidentiality, and health & safety policies are upheld at all times Lead weekly team meetings and provide constructive feedback to staff What We’re Looking For: ✔ Level 3 Early Years Qualification or above (NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent) ✔ Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in an early years setting ✔ Strong leadership and management skills ✔ Secure and up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development ✔ A positive and proactive approach to team collaboration ✔ First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates (or willingness to obtain) ✔ Passion for early years education and a commitment to creating an outstanding learning environment Why Join This Nursery?
