Assembly Operative Bolton, Westhoughton Full-Time £12-13 per hour Excellent Opportunity for Assembly Operatives to join a market leading company. The role will consist of the undertaking assembly of furniture utilising various components, in compliance with relevant work instructions and departmental procedures. Qualifications & Experience Manufacturing experience (preferred) Experience in furniture industry (preferred) Experience in hand held tools i.e. cordless drill / air tools (preferred) Key skills & Duties Undertake thorough check of parts prior to assembly. Assemble furniture in accordance with work order, to the required standard as set out in departmental documentation/procedures, ensuring: Correct components and fixings are utilised; and Components are fully functional. Clean and check moving parts. Label all assembled furniture with date of assembly and signature to agree to check carried out . Record and report faults in line with departmental procedure. Comply with all relevant SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) requirements. Flex to business needs by undertaking any other reasonable duties within manufacturing areas as and when required.
