As an Assurance Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards amongst our licensed members and supervised firms. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough desk-based reviews of members compliance with practice assurance and anti-money laundering requirements, scrutinising annual returns and guiding members on areas for improvement. Beyond reviews, you will contribute to the broader supervision landscape by identifying trends, advising on regulatory matters and collaborating with our external practice assurance representatives. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping our compliance strategies and supporting both internal and external audits. Your proactive approach will help elevate professional standards within the accountancy sector, enhancing our status as a supervisory authority. Additionally, you will maintain and develop strong relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external, staying abreast of regulatory changes to provide timely, accurate guidance and support
