Process Engineer (IPC 610 & J-STD Certified)

Job Title: Process Engineer (IPC 610 & J-STD Certified) Location: Melksham, Wiltshire Hourly rate £16.00 – £22.00 p/h DOE Type: Contract role Duration: Ongoing My client is looking to recruit a Process Engineer with IPC standard knowledge to join their engineering team on a ongoing contract basis to support the manufacturing cells within the business. The company are a market leader in their field, and the company supply many blue-chip companies throughout the world with their parts. Th main function of the role is to implement, maintain and support the manufacturing processes which will include cable assembly/electronics. Other duties will include: * Design and development of specialist production equipment and tooling * Install material flow principles to lean guidelines * Create process documentation * Deal efficiently and effectively with day-to-day technical issues * Improve processes to deliver LPI targets Hours of work: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday (Apply online only) and Friday (Apply online only) Skills/Experience required within the role of Process Engineer are: * Understand and demonstrate capacity and capability of production lines * IPC-620/ J standard experience for wiring loom/wiring harness manufacture * Hold a recognised engineering qualification * Knowledge of manufacturing lean principles * CAD Experience Successful candidates will be contacted within 7 working days of their applications, should you not hear from us within this time, please assume that your application was unsuccessful
