Bookkeeper – Maidstone – Chartered Accountants  Our client is a thriving and expanding Accountancy Firm that takes pride in delivering creative, technology-driven solutions to its clientele.They are currently seeking a Bookkeeper, either full-time or part-time, to become part of their Maidstone-based team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational bookkeeping experience, ready to manage a small group of client accounts.As a Bookkeeper, you will engage with clients from diverse sectors, such as sole proprietors, limited liability companies, and partnerships. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day bookkeeping, completing VAT submissions, and preparing Management Accounts for select clients. To be considered for this position, you should have: Part or fully qualified AAT certification Familiarity with Xero and QuickBooks software Background in double-entry bookkeeping and VAT preparation Knowledge of CIS is beneficial but not mandatory Strong communication skills, as you will liaise directly with clients Additionally, you should be eager to advance your career in Accountancy, exhibit a collaborative spirit, and demonstrate a commitment to learning and growth.
