Automotive Vehicle Technician * 42.5 hours a week * Monday – Friday + 1 in 3 Saturday Mornings * 8am to 5pm with 1 hour break – Alternating Saturdays 8am-12pm rota paid at OT rate 1 ½ * Basic Salary £38,000 + Bonuses = £44,000 OTE * Bonus Scheme – £600 per quarter roughly £2400 per year * Training Bonus available Duties of a Vehicle Technician: * Servicing * Diagnostic work * General maintenance and repairs * Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs) * Suspension work * Road testing vehicles after repair * Repairing and replacing wheel bearings, alternators, and head gaskets * MOT Prep & Post MOT repairs * Change tyres, complete puncture repairs, wheel alignment and balancing * Repairing and replacing exhausts, steering racks, and water pumps * Repairing and replacing radiators, clutches and gearboxes * Timing Belts & Cambelt replacements * Oil changes and part changes e.g. Filters Vehicle Technician Requirements: * MUST have an NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 3 or Level 2 accepted with a minimum of 5 years services * MUST hold a full valid driver license – No major driving convictions DD, DR, IN * Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service. * Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment
