Platform Specialist London – Hybrid 6 months Inside IR35 Rate Negotiable Code Red Associates are currently working with an existing public sector client who are looking to add a Platform Specialist on a 6 months contract. The Platform Specialist role is to ensure the day to day running of the Council’s production servers, operating system, cloud environments, Office 365 collaboration applications, SAAS applications, Council’s network, backups and internet security infrastructure while ensuring high levels of systems availability. The post holder will act as a subject matter expert in their expertise area and provide advice to other ICT team members, participate in technology strategic activities, help in formulating technology roadmaps and create a good governance structure to ensure Councils investment on technologies are fully utilised. Monitor and influence capital project budgets to a value of up to £4 million per annum. Monitor and influence revenue expenditure on Microsoft cloud platforms (excluding staff) of approximately £2 million per annum Monitor and influence revenue expenditure with outsourced partners (LAN/WAN, Applications Management, Azure platform support) of approximately £1.5 million per annum.
