Senior Contract Manager – Waste Management & Recycling Operations

WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING SECTOR EXPERIENCED DEPOT OPERATIONS MANAGER / GENERAL MANAGER REQUIRED TO OVERSEE LARGE SCALE WASTE COLLECTION SERVICES TITLE: Senior Contract Manager – Waste Management & Recycling Depot Operations SALARY: £50-60,000 plus Car or Allowance, Pension, up to 20% Bonus LOCATION: Loughborough area. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THE WASTE MANAGEMENT SECTOR: Depot Manager, General Manager, Area Manager, Regional Manager, Senior Contract Manager, Waste Operations Manager, Depot Operations Manager, Municipal Collections Manager, Recycling Collections Manager ROLE: Senior Contract Manager – Waste Management & Recycling Depot Operations You will be able to forecast and prepare budgets, and manage financials, as you will be required to maximise the profitability of the operation and implement strict cost controls. You will be responsible for staff and collection vehicles You will deliver a motivated and engaged workforce and an effective service, managing all resources and staff at your disposal and working within the terms of the service levels agreed with the client. EXPERIENCE: Senior Contract Manager – Waste Management & Recycling Depot Operations You will have experience providing large scale waste collections services ideally for or contracted to a local authority / council, commercial waste operations experience would also be considered. You will have a strong commercial / financial understanding of the waste management industry or the industry that you work within and have evidence of overachieving budgets and KPI’s. You will have excellent man management skills and a record of positive engagement in previous workforces. CPC in Road Transport either National or International – Required COTC / WAMITAB in Waste Management – Ideal NEBOSH, IOSH, IEMA – a plus PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THE WASTE MANAGEMENT SECTOR: Depot Manager, General Manager, Area Manager, Regional Manager, Senior Contract Manager, Waste Operations Manager, Depot Operations Manager, Municipal Collections Manager, Recycling Collections Manager
