Involve Recruitment are in search of a Quantity Surveyor with Groundworks experience. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing project costs, ensuring that financial resources are used efficiently and effectively throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to provide accurate cost estimates and financial advice. Responsibilities * Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness. * Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures to maintain budget compliance. * Conduct regular financial assessments and provide reports on project costs to stakeholders. * Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on project specifications and budgets. * Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices for materials and services. * Prepare tender documents and assist in the evaluation of bids from contractors. * Manage variations in contracts, ensuring that all changes are documented and accounted for. * Provide advice on procurement strategies to optimise project delivery while controlling costs.
