Job Description
One of the UK's top property developers is curently seeking a Land Manager to work within an experienced land and development team and continue the growth of the companies land portfolio by finding and securing new sites.\\nKey Roles & Responsibilities:\\n * Manage the promotion of existing projects working with the development and planning directors.\\n * Appoint and manage consultant teams.\\n * Manage planning budgets.\\n * Attend meetings with local authorities, external consultants and landowners.\\n * Assist the planning director and manage consultants when preparing planning applications.\\n * Identify and secure new land opportunities.\\n * Evaluate the planning potential of sites by careful examination of the site specific issues, the local authority planning position and by engagement with internal and external planning consultants.\\n * Negotiate HOTs on option / promotion agreements or unconditional acquisitions.\\n * Prepare indicative development appraisals for the development director.\\n * Negotiate detailed contractual terms with the assistance of the legal team and the development director.\\n * Assist the development director in exercising option agreements and agreeing land values with vendors and their professional teams.\\nThe ideal candidate will have:\\n * 3 to 6 years’ experience working in the land department of a national housebuilder or land promoter.\\n * Be a member or working towards membership of the RICS or RTPI
