The role will involve maintaining and repairing all above-ground sanitary ware and general plumbing in retail stores. Additionally, the role requires colleague's to maintain and clean all surface and foul water drainage systems in the stores to pre-determined standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Key Responsibilities: * Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary. * Where the sanitary ware or general plumbing/drainage is beyond repair, to make recommendations to the Area Maintenance Manager regarding suitable replacement/alternatives. * Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times. * Ensure all retail staff are aware of and understand company practices and procedures relating to plumbing/drainage systems.
