Our client is currently looking to recruit a Commissioning Engineer to work on their Caledonia Water Alliance contract. As the M&E Commissioning Engineer you will be part of our client's CWA MEICA Delivery team who are responsible for the installation, delivery, commissioning and handover of all the MEICA elements of the CWA portfolio of works in water and wastewater. As the Commissioning Engineer your duties & responsibilities will include: • Delivery of the MEICA commissioning elements to the agreed time, cost & quality requirements to support the MEICA Commissioning Manager and wider MEICA team. • Work closely with planning team to compile the MEICA commissioning programmes, to ensure that they align with the overall project programmes. • Produce project specific Commissioning Plans through each phase of the project. • Compile and manage a comprehensive commissioning diary at each site and submit this diary to key stakeholders on an agreed regular basis for review. • Provide management of sub-contract labour on site, checking, appraising safe system of work documentation. • Work alongside the CWA Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) department and other members of the project team and leadership to drive the delivery of projects to the highest standards. Skills & Knowledge Requirements: • Technically qualified to carry out the role of MEICA commissioning engineer. • Hold a technical qualification of a minimum of ONC/HNC or Apprenticeship. • An understanding of WIMES. • Experience in Instrumentation Controls and Automation. • A good understanding of Pumping Systems, Screens, CSOs, Dosing Systems and associated instrumentation. • Understanding of telemetry systems. Additional Information Though Mainly based within the Central Belt of Scotland, this role may incur travel throughout Scotland including the Highlands and Islands
