The Check Manager Role
As the Check Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of allocated maintenance inputs, projects, and company initiatives. This will involve line managing staff, assisting the base maintenance management team, and allocating tasks and responsibilities as required.
You will be responsible for issuing certificates of release to service for the specific aircraft types within the scope of your qualifications and authorisations. Additionally, you will be required to deliver staff briefings, maintain progress logs, and update senior management as needed.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work at the company's Manchester Airport location, where they will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
What We're Looking For
To excel in this role, you will need to be a Category B licensed engineer with C certification by aircraft type, holding a B737, B777, and/or A320 rating. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in base maintenance as certifying staff, along with a strong understanding of Part 145 Aviation Legislation.
