Liaising with suppliers and drivers, by phone and by e-mail.

Booking deliveries onto TOREX system.

Notifying suppliers of their assigned deliveries.

Resolving queries/requests from suppliers/hauliers.

General office support as and when required.

Populating a spreadsheet for failed loads.
As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will be responsible for being the first port of call for our valued suppliers and 3rd party hauliers making delivery into our DC network. To be successful, you should have written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail., * Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Ability to work at speed with good time management.

Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge required, though training will be provided.
