We have fantastic opportunity for an HR Adviser to join our team at a time of change and rejuvenation. In this role of HR Adviser you will work directly with the Head of People and Organisational Development to support the delivery of both the People Strategy and act as day to day support for our services. You will provide advice and support to managers in local services to ensure they follow HR policy and procedures and adhere to employment law. You will work as part of a proactive, positive and supportive HR team providing robust advice in line with best practice. Key responsibilities will include: To build and maintain strong relationships with managers, internal and external stakeholders, including recognised unions, and gaining knowledge of the services in order to frame advice. To action case work including capability, conduct, grievance and attendance management as directed. To coach, advise, support, and develop managers in people management matters including managing performance, grievance process, conduct issues, attendance management and wellbeing issues. To work with the Head of People and Organisational Development and the HR team to ensure policies and procedures are up to date.
