We\’re delighted to be working with an established leading provider of housing and social care in the appointment of Commercial Director.
As Commercial Director, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the organisation\’s commercial strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring effective cost control and income maximisation while overseeing critical areas such as procurement, health & safety, facilities and maintenance. Your leadership will directly contribute to the financial sustainability and operational efficiency of the organisation.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure the organisation is efficient and effective in the use of its resources.
- Explore and evaluate opportunities for financing new business or increasing efficiency.
- Support the production of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Monitor budgetary performance and ensure that budget holders are advised when prompt corrective or preventative action is necessary.
- Lead organisational Housing, Facilities Management, Procurement and H&S provision.
Requirements:
- Relevant sector experience with Health & Social Care or comparable service industry.
- Ability to understand and operate at a strategic management level.
- Track record of successfully delivering commercial services efficiently and effectively.
- Direct experience of staff line management.
- Knowledge of the strategic and funding issues affecting the provision of care.
- Financial modelling for care tenders and acquisitions.
Contract:
This is a permanent position of 37.5hrs per week with a basic salary of £85,000pa. Remote working with a mix of home-based and working across the portfolio of services in the South / Southeast of England.
