Delegated Authority Manager
Are you an experienced professional in Delegated Authority Management looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a Delegated Authority Manager to play a key role in overseeing due diligence processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards across multiple underwriting platforms.
About the Role
As a Delegated Authority Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the due diligence process, managing a team of experienced professionals, and ensuring the effective onboarding and monitoring of delegated authority and claims business. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including Governance, Risk, Compliance, Underwriting, and Claims teams, to uphold industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and ensure due diligence reviews of coverholders comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Enhance and embed Delegated Underwriting and Delegated Claims onboarding processes to meet compliance standards.

Manage the implementation of Delegated workflow systems, ensuring functionality and accurate reporting.

Maintain and oversee the Delegated Authority and Claims monitoring tracker.

Ensure quality and consistency of delivery against key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).

Provide insight and support to coverholder audit teams for full-cycle reviews of delegated authority business.

Work across international divisions to ensure a unified approach to due diligence.

Foster strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory adherence.

Provide oversight of line slip, consortium, and master policy arrangements as needed.

Deputise for the Operations Director in relevant areas when required.
What We're Looking For

Extensive experience in Delegated Authority Management, ideally within a Syndicate, Managing Agent, or Lloyd's of London environment.

Strong understanding of International and UK consumer delegated authority business, particularly UK binding authorities and regulatory changes.

In-depth knowledge of Lloyd's Delegated Authority regulation, including DCOM and ATLAS.

Strategic and innovative thinker with the ability to drive business improvements.

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to guide and inspire a team.

Strong organisational and decision-making abilities.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
