We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Commercial Visitor Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Kidderminster Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of various commercial departments at our Railway. This includes delivering exceptional service and standards in food and beverage, retail, special events, and corporate clients. The role also involves supporting the Bar, Retail, and Catering Staff in their daily tasks, contributing to an outstanding visitor experience, and assisting in achieving site objectives and targets., Collaborate closely with the Kidderminster Manager to create and deliver a top-notch customer experience.

Welcome and assist visitors, handling inquiries, queries, and complaints with professionalism and friendliness.

Contribute to initiatives to improve turnover, profit, efficiency, and quality standards

Serve as an ambassador for the business and lead by example.

Ensure the safe management of the business’s finances, stock, and security.
-
Maintain accurate stock records and participate in monthly stocktakes.
-
Follow purchase order processes to ensure accurate invoice payments.
-
Adhere to health and safety procedures and trainings to ensure a safe working environment.
-
Uphold high standards of cleanliness, personal hygiene, and appearance.
-
Report any necessary equipment repairs and arrange for repairs to be carried out promptly.

Record all accidents, incidents, near misses, and notifiable diseases.
-
Utilise social media to market the business effectively.

Perform any other relevant duties as required.

Consistently deliver excellent customer service in the King & Castle Pub, Valley Suite, and Retail Shop.

Ensure the security of the business’s money, stock, and premises.

Adhere to HACCP and health and hygiene regulations.

Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager, Bar Shift Supervisors, Commercial Supervisor, Catering Manager.
