7.5t Multidrop Delivery Driver

Driver Hire Uxbridge are recruiting for 7.5 tonne Multi-drop Delivery Drivers for our client based in West Drayton, a family run logistics company specialising in the delivery of printing equipment PLEASE NOTE ALL ROLES ARE ON A TEMPORARY ADHOC BASIS – SHIFTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED PAYE £15.50 to £18.00 per hour (including holiday pay) * Excellent rates of pay! * On-going position for the right candidates! * Register today and start work within 1 week! * Auto-enrolment pension after 3 months! Shifts will vary during Monday to Friday 5/7am starts (minimum 8 hour day) All-round Duties: * You will be required to work as part of a two-man team delivering/installing and collecting a variety of high value delicate electronic equipment * Complete deliveries correctly and efficiently, in a professional and timely manner * Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues * Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fuel levels, tyre pressure, and fluid levels * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations * Please note this role is a very physical based position (consistent heavy lifting) Requirements: * Valid UK CAT C1 licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN) * Valid CPC * A manual driving licence * At least 1-year experience as a 7.5T driver / LGV / HGV (references required) * Have more than 90 days appropriate driving experience (Cat C1) in the past 12 months * You must be over the age of 25 years (insurance purposes) * Physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting * Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members * Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards Rates of pay: * We pay for a minimum of 10 hours a day (breaks are not paid) * PAYE £15.50 to £18.00 per hour (including holiday pay) Do you have the drive and experience?
