Airfreight Specialist About The Business * Danish parent company – UK division has been operating for 50 years. * Based in Trafford Park. Office of approx. 35 staff with a further 30+ in Aberdeen/Heathrow. * Actively expanding within Air, Sea, Road, Courier. * Currently hiring for our General Cargo Sea/Air/Courier Division * Business has grown +50% revenue in 2024 alone. About the team * New and growing team so those who join have great say in direction and can put their own stamp on the business. * Great career paths for team members who want to grow. * Responsibility and accountability for the business. * Comfortable with having to find solutions for clients at a high pace and able to build trust with clients. Job Requirements * Driver of operational excellence * Ability to operate airfreight end to end * Export and Import + customs clearance, LCL, FCL, Cross trade * DG trained (valid or willing to get updated certificate upon joining) * +3 years’ experience in global freight forwarder handling all aspects of air freight * Sourcing best routes/pricing for clients. Benefits package * Salary up to £38,000 DOE * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * Pension scheme which is being increased to 8% employer match over next 2 years. (current 5%) * Working hours M-F 9-5 – Hybrid working 2 days a week possible after probation on agreement with line manager
