Job Title: Shift Engineer Hours: 2 week shift Pattern as follows: first week: 5 days (12 hour shifts) second week: 2 days (12 hour shifts) (Weekend work included) Overview: We are seeking a skilled Shift Engineer with experience in electro-mechanical fault diagnosis and preventative maintenance within a manufacturing environment. The role requires responding to emergencies, working within a team, and ensuring safe and efficient maintenance practices. Key Responsibilities: * Perform mechanical strip-down/re-assembly, wiring, calibration, and system testing * Complete reactive repairs within set timeframes * Communicate with management on repair and maintenance progress * Interpret electrical diagrams and work with 415V motor controls * Conduct risk assessments and ensure health and safety * Read assembly drawings and operate hand tools * Follow setup instructions and checklists * Provide excellent communication and attention to detail Desired Skills: * Basic PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge (beneficial) * Computer literate with basic Microsoft Office skills * Flexible, self-motivated, and reliable * Strong interpersonal and organizational skills * Physically fit and able to work at height Additional Information: * Emergency cover as part of a team * Willingness to learn and adapt to new roles Apply today to join our team
