REClifts is currently recruiting for an experienced Stairlift Engineer for a key role based in West of London. We are working with a highly reputable and well-established mobility engineering company that provides outstanding service.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and progressive team, specialising in the service and repair of a wide range of stairlifts and mobility equipment. Our client is known for its commitment to employee development, offering regular training and clear paths for career advancement.
Role Overview:
- Carry out service and repair of stairlifts (both straight and curved).
- Perform essential maintenance and repair work on ceiling track hoists, through-floor lifts, step lifts, and through-floor operators.
- Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions to ensure optimal functionality of equipment.
- Liaise professionally with clients, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
- Maintain accurate service records and comprehensive documentation for all works performed.
- Work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
Requirements:
- NVQ 2 Qualified in Stairlift Engineering or electrical/mechanical field - Desirable
- Proven experience in the service and repair of stairlifts.
- Strong Electrical Qualifications - Desirable
- A solid mechanical skillset, ideally within the stairlift or mobility sector.
- Full UK Driving Licence - Essential.
- A reliable, compassionate, and professional approach to customer service.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to use your own initiative effectively.
