Job Title: CNC Turner

Salary: £25-35 per hour

Location: Reading

Contract: 4-6 Months

Role Overview CNC Turner

Join our clients machine shop as a CNC Turner, working under the Machine Shop Supervisor to operate CNC lathes and produce precise components to meet quality and deadline targets.

Key Responsibilities CNC Turner

• Set up and operate CNC lathes

• Perform turning for angles, radii, tapers, and bores

• Use manual lathes occasionally

• Inspect work with precision tools

• Check incoming materials and final parts

• Replace/sharpen tools

• Maintain records and a clean, safe workspace

• Report issues to supervisor

• Follow company rules and quality standards

• Assist with other factory tasks as needed

Key Experience & Qualifications CNC Turner

• Technical qualification or 5+ years in a machine shop

• Skilled in machine tool setup and operation

• Proficient with precision measuring tools
