Key Responsibilities: Lead Analytical Projects: Take charge as the Analytical Lead on customer projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, integrity, and scientific excellence. Method Development: Develop and validate cutting-edge analytical methods for small molecule intermediates, APIs, and drug products (such as LC/GC), delivering novel solutions that exceed customer expectations. Problem Solving: Collaborate with the PR&D team to tackle analytical challenges and troubleshoot instruments, driving innovation and efficiency. Digital Innovation: Utilize digital tools to enhance process understanding and deliver rapid, efficient solutions for the clients. Safety Leadership: Uphold and model strong safety standards in the laboratory, ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of safety. Knowledge and Skills: Educational Background: BSc minimum in Organic Chemistry (or related subject) required; PhD is a plus. Analytical Expertise: Proven experience in analytical science, particularly in pharmaceutical or chemical industries. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in developing robust methods using HPLC, GC, and other techniques. Experience with chromatographic data systems from Agilent, Waters, Thermo, Shimadzu, etc. Scientific Communication: Ability to write clear, concise reports from complex data and communicate effectively in technical language. Additional Skills: Knowledge of synthetic chemistry, physical organic chemistry, and/or catalysis is highly preferred. Strong data management and visualization skills are essential. Standards and Safety: Good understanding of applicable standards and HSSE principles.
