School Cleaner

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a school, ensuring that all areas are clean and tidy. This role is essential in upholding our standards of excellence and providing a pleasant experience for all occupants.

Term time only (plus 1 week easter and 2 weeks summer deep cleans)

Monday to Friday 9.45am-2.30pm,

A strict condition of employment, is working extra time, between 3pm and 6pm, covering any sickness, holidays within the evening cleaning team

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.

• Clean and sanitise restrooms.

• Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.

• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order.

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing attention.

• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and management effectively.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
