As one of the largest performance door-set manufacturers and architectural hardware suppliers in the UK, we provide bespoke Door Suites made onsite in our factory in North Wales.
We are currently hiring a Sales Manager, with experience working within the door set and hardware industry, to drive and enhance business growth.
The successful individual will strengthen our existing technical sales team with a persistent, enthusiastic and energetic approach, focusing on retaining and maintaining our core business and key accounts, whilst also breaking ground with new clients.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in generating business within the doors and door-set industry and be capable of building relationships with key decision-makers, possess a passion for sales, with a deep understanding of the B2B landscape, and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
Demonstrable success in a previous Sales or Account Management role, whilst creating account management strategies, will be key to being successful in this role.
Ideal candidates should be based in the south of England to enable a focus on sales territories within reasonable travelling distance.
Please Note – only candidates with demonstrable experience and knowledge of our industry – door, door sets and associated hardware – will be considered for this role.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify prospective clients, ensuring a steady pipeline of new business.
- Achieve sales targets and manage the front-end profitability of allocated territories.
- Engage with decision-makers to understand their needs and how our solutions can meet them.
- Provide consultative/technical advice to clients on project specifications with support from our in-house technical team.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations tailored to the client’s needs.
- Negotiate terms and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful product/service delivery.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system.
Experience
- Knowledge or exposure in selling into the door set and associated hardware market.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong networking abilities and the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Experience using CRM systems to track sales and client interactions.
