Foreman

I’m looking for experienced Civils Foremen to join my clients team, covering projects across Yorkshire, with some travel required depending on project locations. Key Responsibilities: * Overseeing the day-to-day running of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. * Completing allocation sheets on a daily basis. * Assessing the competence of all personnel entering the site. * Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies. * Conducting site inductions, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and daily pre-start meetings. * Supervising subcontractors, technical specialists, and other third parties. * Attending and participating in monthly site Health & Safety meetings. * Carrying out weekly site safety inspections in line with company procedures. * Managing timesheets and plant returns as required. * Assisting with planning and programming of works. * Inspecting all plant upon arrival and completion of hire, reporting any issues. What I’m Looking For: * Valid CSCS Supervisor Card / SSSTS Qualification * First Aid at Work Certificate * Strong leadership and commercial awareness * Previous experience in civil engineering projects * Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) * Organised and able to problem-solve * Computer literate * Experience supervising all aspects of civil engineering, including earthworks, drainage, concrete, piling, utilities, and canal work.
