Junior Artworker | Manchester City Centre | Office/ Studio Based | Salary – £22-24k
Zachary Daniels are proud to be representing a fast-growing and dynamic clothing brand, seeking a talented Junior Artworker to join their creative team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work closely with experienced graphic designers, assisting in the creation of high-quality visual assets across digital platforms for multiple in-house brands.
This is an entry-level role and perfect for someone who wants to start a fantastic career in a vibrant, growing business! Lots of training and support from the team will be provided!
Key Responsibilities:
- Image manipulation: Cropping, resizing, and adjusting images to fit design layouts.
- Asset creation: Designing assets for emails, social media, websites, and paid advertising.
- File preparation: Converting image formats and optimising files for both web and print.
- Colour correction & layout: Assisting with colour adjustments and layout design.
- Retouching & typography: Enhancing images and ensuring fonts align with design guidelines.
- Design support: Assisting senior designers with mockups, variations, and presentations.
- Quality control: Reviewing final artwork and implementing revisions based on feedback.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: A degree in Graphic Design or related field is preferred but not essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Attention to detail: A keen eye for accuracy and spotting design inconsistencies.
- Creative skills: Strong understanding of design, typography, and layout.
- Communication: Strong collaboration and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills (preferred/ non-essential):
- Experience in print or digital design.
