The Role
As a Retention Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of business KPIs and exceeding client expectations during renewal conversations. Your responsibilities will include managing and mentoring a team of Relationship Managers and Executives, coordinating retention activities, and identifying new business opportunities. You will also be responsible for ensuring the delivery of renewal terms, overseeing training, and maintaining a high level of service across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, mentor, and motivate the team to ensure optimal performance
- Set clear performance targets and maintain a structured workflow
- Conduct regular quality checks and coaching sessions to ensure a timely renewal process
- Ensure all work is completed within relevant SLAs, including timely responses to client communications
- Provide leadership and support to all stakeholders, working collaboratively on projects
- Identify training and development needs within the team
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings to provide updates and monitor progress
- Drive efficiencies and implement process improvements
- Support client and broker meetings, discussing renewals and upsell opportunities
- Solve client retention challenges and drive upgrades and upselling opportunities
