An exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector working a full continental shift pattern (days and nights) in a DIT Department. The Purpose of the Role: Responsible for completing visual product inspections using a variety of measuring equipment and NDT testing using hand test equipment. Main Responsibilities of the Quality Contol Inspector Responsible for completing visual product inspections. Preparing products for inspection, packaging and dispatch – goods inwards/outwards. Loading and unloading of vehicles using overhead cranes and fork-lift trucks. Follow SOP's and QCP's. Support and contribute to the area's lean assessment process with the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques to maintain and improve the processes within the area. Key Skills / Experience: Previous experience of visual product inspection. Experience driving forklift trucks would be advantageous, however training will be provided. Strong emphasis on attention to detail. Good standard of numeracy and literacy. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure.
