The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
The school are seeking a passionate team player to take on this short-term role, although there is potential for this to become a long-term placement for the right SEND Learning Support Assistant / LSA. The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant / LSA will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children’s individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school.
The position will involve working with students across all Key Stages with diagnosis of Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, and challenging behaviours. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.
The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant / LSA will have:

Experience working with children with additional needs / disabilities

Experience working with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviours

Level 2 or 3 CACHE or equivalent

Team-Teach or MAPA qualifications desirable
