Is a UK leader in the manufacture of Building products. They have a strong presence in the Midlands and are currently looking to recruit a first class Concrete Technical Leader to lead projects ranging from their invention in the laboratory to scale up from pilot plant and similarily the optimisation of existing products., The position will be focussed completely on New Product Development and optimising existing products in the laboratory and liaising with another operational concrete expert who industrialises these new formualtions at site level.
The role will include the following types of projects through laboratory and pilot plant work.
Industrialise new products
Raw Material change optimisation
Complaint resolution
Cost saving initiatives
This is a role with its roots in Research and Development and using pilot plant to innovate. The successful applicant will ideally be a qualified concrete technologist or materials scientist / chemist with a sound understanding of the chemical make-up of concrete mixes and the subsequent physical properties.
GBP55,000 – GBP60,000 + Car or allowance + 18% bonus + 10% pension contribution
