My client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual with strong communication and customer service skills to play a key role in supporting our national and international sales operations.
The ideal candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent email, word processing, and spreadsheet skills, and have a sound understanding of export procedures from order receipt to dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process customer orders via phone, email, fax, and online platforms
- Respond to incoming customer inquiries and provide high-quality support
- Liaise with production and warehouse teams to coordinate dispatch dates
- Monitor and verify dispatch and delivery schedules
- Perform order analysis and generate weekly sales reports
- Maintain and update the customer database and price book
- Manage customer contact information and interactions
- Handle invoicing and general filing tasks
- Coordinate transport and liaise with shipping companies
