School Sports Coach

Are you passionate about sports and making a real difference in the lives of young people? Do you have the skills to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? If so, we invite you to join our team at an SEMH school in Rugby as a School Sports Coach., As a School Sports Coach in our SEMH setting, you will engage students through physical activity, delivering tailored sports sessions that not only promote fitness but also support their emotional regulation, self-confidence, and teamwork skills. Working closely with staff, you will create a safe, structured, and inclusive environment where all students can succeed.

• A relevant coaching qualification (Level 2 or above preferred).

• Experience working with young people with SEMH or additional needs (desirable).

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with students.

• Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to working with challenging behaviour.

• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)., * Teaching: 1 year (required)

• Sports coaching: 1 year (required)
