This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel – Data Privacy to join a global legal team. If you\’re passionate about data protection and thrive in fast-paced, tech-driven environments, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape privacy strategy across multiple business functions.
What You’ll Do:
- Advise on complex privacy matters across product development, marketing, and commercial operations.
- Guide teams on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and privacy best practices.
- Support privacy-related incident management and risk assessments.
- Develop and maintain policies, processes, and training to strengthen compliance frameworks.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 5 years of post-qualification experience* in data privacy, ideally with in-house exposure.
- Some leadership/management/formal mentoring experience (although worth noting that this is still very much a hands on role)
- Deep expertise in GDPR and global data protection laws.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate legal concepts into practical business advice.
- Interest in emerging technologies, including AI, ad tech, and digital innovation.
- Experience with privacy management tools is a plus.
