SAP FICO Senior Consultant

£500 – £575 per day (Outside IR35)

Hybrid – 3dpw Central London (only for the discovery, to then reduce after that is complete)

We are seeking experienced SAP FICO Senior Consultants to support a new S/4HANA transformation programme for a large-scale retail end user organisation (via consulting firm). The role requires broad SAP FICO expertise, covering core finance and accounting processes, with an emphasis on General Ledger, Tax Reporting, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Project Accounting.

This is a hands-on consulting role, requiring a proactive and professional approach to ensure smooth project execution. You will be expected to work closely with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide solutions, and support the implementation within the agreed project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the S/4HANA transformation across SAP FICO processes, ensuring best-practice configurations and seamless integration.
• Work on General Ledger, Tax Reporting, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Project Accounting within the new system.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Provide expertise in solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth integration with other SAP modules.
• Identify and resolve system issues, offering guidance on best practices.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as an SAP FICO Consultant with expertise across core Finance and Controlling modules.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of General Ledger, Tax Reporting, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Project Accounting.
• Experience working on S/4HANA projects, preferably in a consulting capacity.
• Ability to liaise with business users, understand their challenges, and provide practical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Retail industry experience is beneficial but not essential – priority will be given to strong professional SAP FICO contractors who can be trusted to deliver.
