Job Description

Morgan Hunt is delighted to working with a Lanarkshire based Architectural practice as we assist them with a number of key appointments to their business as they continue to grow their client base.

Our client has over 20 years experience in the Industry and have grown into a a leading player across the central belt of Scotland. They have enjoyed fantastic organic growth over the last 5 years, which has seen a recent office move into a bigger studio.

In the last number of years, they have had great staff retention which speaks volumes of the culture and management style within the business.

Exciting times are afoot as they business is looking to take the next step in their journey, and are looking for an ambitious Architect to join them to become part of that.

The Role

Is to support the Managing Director of the practice and provide design, leadership and direction in the studio on projects for their external client base.

You will be given full design autonomy, and given to you on your own projects to manage, with the support of 2 staff members below you.

Your initial project will be a £10m conversion of a Grade B listed building. However, you will also get to work on a range of projects from residential, offices, retail, distilleries, public buildings and hotels.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • ARB registered Architect
  • Experience in designing and running your own jobs.
  • A strong team player willing to participate in business growth by maximising opportunities and being willing and able to support junior members.
  • Knowledge of Scottish Building regulations.
