· Lead a production kitchen in providing a balanced menu of home comforts and modern trends to a demanding customer base.
· Ensure a consistently high standard of food is delivered, appropriately priced and portioned.
· To understand the business needs and requirements of working on a client site.
· To assist in maintaining all legal health, hygiene, and safety records.
· Ensure the highest standard of cleanliness is maintained within the kitchen.
· Assist the development of the kitchen staff who report to you.
· Input new ideas and food styles to ensure continual innovation and improvement.
· Ensure that team building is effective to meet site and company requirements.
· To communicate with the team and to ensure they all understand the parameters of the business through the head chef’s objectives.
We are looking for an innovative, dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to lead a production kitchen at our prestigious contract catering site, catering for up to 1800 customers per day across three busy cafes.
The ideal Sous will come with previous experience of managing a diverse kitchen team. With the mentality of ‘We, not I’ and a positive approach to customer satisfaction.
