Civils Estimator (Co.Tyrone)
Your new company
A main Building and Civils contractor based in County Tyrone are now recruiting for an Estimator. A well-established and highly regarded contractor, they are undertaking a number of exciting projects across the UK and Ireland, currently operating with a turnover of £50m. This contractor operates within the educational, residential, community and industrial sectors as well as water infrastructure, reservoirs and wastewater treatment works. Due to continued growth they wish to invest in an ambitious, experienced Estimator to join their Civils division.
Your new role
You will assist in analytical cost estimates and tenders, from receipt of enquiry to tender submission on a variety of large scale Civils projects ranging up to £10m. You will be expected to manage projects efficiently and report price variations effectively. This is an office-based role so you will not be required to travel to the UK.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be degree educated in a construction related discipline, and will have at least 5 years of previous experience in an estimating role. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of tendering and winning build projects and a strong understanding of construction processes. You will have proven experience of delivering all aspects of your role efficiently, and to a consistently high standard. A confident and outgoing personality will also be beneficial for dealing directly with clients and their design teams.
