The Role: Director of Development | Fashion, Beauty & Pop Culture
Dream Bay Entertainment (DBE) is looking for a visionary creative leader to spearhead the development, production, and expansion of our Fashion, Beauty & Pop Culture vertical across DBE’s owned & operated channels. This is an opportunity to build something from the ground up, shaping the future of beauty, fashion, and pop culture content in the digital era.
As Director of Development, you’ll own the creative process end-to-end—from concept to execution—bringing innovative content ideas to life and scaling a global audience. You’ll develop original formats, drive creative strategy, and partner with top digital talent to produce trendsetting, conversation-driving content.

Key Responsibilities:
Creative Strategy & Show Development
- Dream up, develop, and launch original, high-impact shows and formats tailored for digital-first audiences, with a strong emphasis on beauty, fashion, and pop culture.
- Identify content gaps and execute strategies to scale across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and emerging platforms.
- Partner with top-tier digital talent, influencers, and creators to craft programming that deeply resonates with their audiences.
Channel Growth & Audience Engagement
- Lead the charge in audience-building—overseeing content strategy and programming to drive engagement, retention, and rapid growth.
- Stay ahead of trends, platform shifts, and viral moments, ensuring we remain at the forefront of digital entertainment.
- Develop and execute data-driven content distribution, promotion, and monetization strategies.
Production Oversight & Execution
- Oversee the end-to-end production of all original content, ensuring every project is on time, on budget, and creatively exceptional.
- Manage and develop a pipeline of beauty, fashion, and pop culture-focused series that stand out in a crowded landscape.
- Work closely with editors, producers, and talent to craft scroll-stopping, shareable, and binge-worthy content.
Financial & Business Leadership
- Oversee the P&L for the studios division, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
- Work closely with brand partners, agencies, and sponsors to develop and scale commercial opportunities.
- Lead high-level negotiations and oversee IP development, licensing, and partnerships that expand our footprint.
Team Development & Leadership
- Hire, mentor, and lead a team of producers, editors, and content strategists, ensuring a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Cultivate a dynamic, high-performing team that thrives on pushing creative boundaries and setting new industry standards.
