Due to a period of rapid growth, my client is currently recruiting for an experienced field service pumps engineer to cover the Midlands area. The successful candidate will be given 30 days holiday per year plus numerous performance-related bonuses along with a generous annual salary.
Job role overview: To take responsibility for the commissioning of new foul and surface water pumping stations. Responsible for the execution, control and completion of commissioning on projects throughout the UK, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Joining an exciting and fast-paced production team, the ideal candidate will be a motivated individual installing and commissioning pumping equipment.
- Attend to breakdowns when necessary.
- Be prepared to stay away from home when required, 1 night per week.
- Complete Site Reports after each visit and obtain customer signature where possible.
- Ensure company vehicle is stocked with van-stock & tools required at all times.
- Driving to and from site within the U.K.
- Ensure all materials are available and correct before leaving the works to carry out your allocated work.
- Complete time sheets on a weekly basis.
ANY OTHER DUTIES NECESSARY:
- Be flexible to the requirements of the business.
- Observe and maintain the company’s Health & Safety Policy.
- Undertake any other duties that may be required from time to time.

- Immaculate presentation in regard to oneself; one’s environment, documents, marketing and products.
- Abide by communication protocol for all Team Members. Email & phone calls must be responded to within 24 hrs.

- Industry relevant product experience.
- CSCS and Confined Space.
- 17th Edition Testing and Inspection.
- City and Guilds/NVQ3 Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge and experience in organisational effectiveness.
