Excell Supply are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Supply 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join our team in the Telford area. This exciting opportunity offers flexible, supply-based positions to work with a variety of schools in the region. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to students with special educational needs or those requiring additional assistance, helping them thrive in their educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to individual students on a 1:1 basis. Assist students in their learning, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met. Support the classroom teacher with lesson plans and activities. Promote inclusion, encouraging students to fully participate in class activities. Manage and monitor the progress of assigned students, reporting back to the teacher and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator). Adapt learning materials to suit the needs of students. Essential Requirements: Experience working with children, ideally within a teaching or support role. A passion for supporting students with additional needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Teaching Assistant qualifications or equivalent) are desirable but not essential. Benefits: Competitive hourly rates. Flexible working hours.
