Job Description

Consilium Recruit are supporting a globally respected developer of specialist manufacturing equipment supplied across a range of sectors. They are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer with applied electronics experience ideally in a high value product setting. This is a permanent role.

Commutable from: Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham, Derby, Burton-On-Trent

Salary: £ Excellent Salary + Enhanced Employer Pension Contribution + Life Assurance + Hybrid Working + Enhanced Annual Leave Allowance.

The Role:

A leading manufacturer of specialist equipment is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to develop the required electronics architecture to support the new product development process and lead in electronics and systems design reviews.

The Senior Electronics Engineer will contribute to the overall electronics programme planning and functional specifications supporting the development of complex and bespoke solutions.

Key activities within this role include developing designs compatible with design for manufacturing and design for reliability/servicing requirements alongside their required technical documentation. You will support pre-compliance design and testing and supporting testing and analytical activity using MATLAB.

The Senior Electronic Engineer will take a lead role on product design including embedded systems, modules, and full product architecture.

The Person:

The successful candidate for the role will possess either a degree level of equivalent qualification in electronic/electrical engineering or near-neighbour technical discipline.

You will be conversant with the design and development of embedded electronics solutions including applied electronics and be well versed in PCB layout packages, Design for Manufacture roadmaps and testing work.

The Senior Electronics Engineer will ideally have experience of bringing low volume, high value products from prototype into a production phase and be conversant with the required technical and project gateways for new product development.

You will be familiar with modern product testing methods for electronics and the required quality engineering milestones for NPI.
